X-Rated : Misti, tell us about your background where you from?
Misti : I am from the middle of nowhere…literally – a county of about 23,000 people in Western Kentucky called Henderson.

X-Rated : How did your family and childhood friends reacted when you told them about your new career?
Misti : I don’t see a lot of people I grew up with anymore, mostly because our interests started to vary a long time ago. There is the “get married and have kids right after high school” path, and I didn’t choose that one! So by the time I started doing work with sites like BurningAngel.com, I didn’t have a ton of childhood friends in my life anyway. I don’t think my mother was very shocked and nor were my friends. I’ve always been very comfortable with my sexuality and level-headed, so they trusted my decision.

X-Rated : What is your education?
Misti : I was in college until later last semester. Due to traveling so much for my career, it was hard to balance the two and give the attention to my education that it deserved. I fully intend on returning to college and changing my major from Biology to Psychology.

X-Rated : What brought you to the porn industry?
Misti : My interest started long ago and I entered in the industry doing softcore stuff at 18. Misti : It’s way too long to count them all; I would say I have about 30 hours of work. They all mean equal amounts to me, since I chose to put them all on my body forever.

Misti : It’s special because its where I get to portray myself the way I am. I’m just a video game nerd who likes to fuck. I’m a pretty average all-american gal in a lot of ways, but not in so many other ways, and I get to show that. Plus, I make all my own content the way I want it. X-Rated : You recently launched a new website where you have cameras all around your home, how do you feel living in a ‘big-brother house’?

Misti : Yeah – we put a 24-hour webcam in for MeowMistiDawn.com! It’s a good thing, cause I start filming a reality show in about a week, so it’s good practice for that I suppose. I honestly forget they are up sometimes. As I always say to people: don’t do anything you wouldn’t want everyone to know anyway because everyone always eventually finds out.

Misti : Water sports I have no interest in, or animal-related sports. Ha – I can’t think of much else I wouldn’t try at least once!

Misti : Depends on what I’m in the mood for! I actually have a video I am making soon about baking cookies!
