Digital Playground’s contract star Jesse Jane attracted over 80,000 fans at Sexpo.
The star attraction this year is porn star Jesse Jane, who starred in Pirates, the most expensive porn film ever made.
And a new political party, the Australian Sex Party, was launched by Fiona Patten, chief executive of the Eros Association and the party convener.
Ms Patten says the party will run for multiple Senate seats in the next federal election and she hopes to counteract the “climate of wowserism” promoted by conservative politicians, such as Family Senator Steve Fielding, in Canberra.
While Sexpo’s main focus is on sex toys, sex aids, clothing and pornography, there are also a range of sex-related health and advocacy groups at the trade fair.
A group of chiropractors are on hand to help people assess their back and nerve health.
“We see chiro as not just a pain management issue. The body needs to be maintained to work to its full potential and maximise nerve functions,” the stall manager, who does not want to be named, said.
Other stalls are promoting paintball, topless male waiters, accommodation, art, foot health, and sexual rights for disabled people in accommodation.
“We’re saying – we are disabled and we like sex just as much as everybody else and it is our right,” George Seggie from the Accsex Coalition said.
The coalition want regulations changed so that people who live in hostels are given opportunities to enjoy sex.
They also want brothels made more accessible for disabled people and for prostitutes to be educated in dealing with disabled clients.
