Playboy in 3D! comes with glasses but without lube

Playboy centerfold Hope Dworaczyk will appear in the playboy magazine in 3 D,

according to recent reports. Playboy magazine has been struggling for a number of years, likely because of the large amount of content that is available online and putting so many paper produced magazine out of business. In the upcoming June edition of the magazine, it will feature their usual centerfold with Hope Dworaczyk. Along with the magazine itself, purchasers will be treated to a pair of 3D glasses to view the pictures in their entire glory.

“What would most people like to see in 3-D?,”Asked Hugh Hefner. “Probably a naked lady.”
And who could disagree? This is the latest attempt by Playboy to attract new readers as the current generation slowly shifts toward the Internet and other forms of article reading.

“In today’s print environment, you have to create newsstand events,” said editorial director Jimmy Jellinek.
This is the first time in the history of the magazine that they will be offering a pair of 3-D glasses along with the magazine itself. Playboy is also competing with a number of other magazines that have turned to similar tactics in recent years to attract new readers.
“This particular picture is one example of how books and magazines are different (than computer images),” Hefner added. “You can hold it in your hands, save them, and as Dad used to, put them under the mattress.”

Hefner has reportedly been considering the move for quite some time. However, he reportedly hadn’t previously moved forward because of the heavy expenses that the endeavor would require.
“It’s kind of like it says on a rearview mirror,” centerfold Dworaczyk joked. “Things may appear larger.”
